Worldwide Microhome Portfolio Collaboration 2026–2027

Seeking 20 exceptional microhomes from around the world.

After more than 25 years photographing architecture, hospitality and commercial spaces, I’m launching a personal international project dedicated exclusively to exceptional microhomes.

My goal is to create a carefully curated collection of inspiring spaces that celebrate architecture, sustainability, craftsmanship and innovative ways of living.

This is not a commercial promotion.

It is a selective portfolio collaboration for projects that deserve to be documented with the same care and attention  given to high-end architectural photography.

Only 20 projects worldwide will be selected.

What selected

 projects receive

Each selected property will receive a complete  professional visual package, including:

✔ Professional architectural photography

✔ Interior photography

✔ Exterior photography

✔ Detail and lifestyle images

✔ Drone photography (where legally permitted)

✔ Professional Virtual Tour (layout and navigation designed by the photographer)

✔ High-resolution images

✔ Web-optimized images

✔ Commercial usage rights for marketing, website, social media and booking platforms

The number of delivered photographs depends on the size, architecture and uniqueness of each project.

Photography Fee

There is no photography fee.

The property owner only covers the actual travel expenses necessary to complete the assignment, including:

• Transportation

• Accommodation (when required)

• Meals during travel (when necessary)

Travel expenses must be agreed upon in advance and paid before confirming the booking.

Eligible Projects

I’m looking for distinctive spaces that combine thoughtful architecture with beautiful surroundings.

Eligible projects include:

• Tiny Houses

• Microhomes

• Architect-designed Cabins

• Converted Shipping Containers

• Off-grid Homes

• Eco Lodges

Projects must be independent buildings designed as complete living spaces.

The artistic and architectural quality of the project is more important than its size.

Not Eligible

This collaboration is not intended for:

✕ Apartments

✕ Standard residential houses

✕ Hotel rooms

✕ Conventional holiday apartments

✕ Caravans

✕ Motorhomes

✕ Temporary camping structures

Selection Criteria

Every application is individually reviewed.

Selection is based on:

• Architectural quality

• Design originality

• Integration with the surrounding landscape

• Interior styling

• Visual storytelling potential

I reserve the right to decline projects that do not fit the artistic vision of this portfolio.

Preparing Your Property

To ensure the highest photographic quality, selected properties should be fully prepared before the session.

This includes:

• Clean interiors and exteriors

• Styled and uncluttered spaces

• Functional lighting

• Finished landscaping (where applicable)

Photography sessions are carried out under the lighting and weather conditions considered most suitable by the photographer.

Image Usage

Property owners receive a commercial license to use the delivered images for:

• Websites

• Social media

• Booking platforms

• Printed marketing material

• Advertising

As the creator of the photographs, I retain copyright and reserve the right to use the images for:

• Portfolio

• Website

• Social media

• Exhibitions

• Publications

• Competitions

• Promotional activities

Availability

Applications are open now.

The collaboration remains available until 31 July 2027, or until the first 20 selected projects have been photographed.

Once all twenty projects have been completed, the collaboration will officially close.

About Me

I’m Luca Candela, an Italian architectural and commercial photographer with over 25 years of experience creating visual content for hospitality, architecture, real estate and commercial spaces.

My work combines architectural photography, drone imagery and immersive Virtual Tours to tell the story of each place in the most authentic way possible.

This project is my personal commitment to documenting some of the most inspiring small living spaces around the world.

Final Thought

I’m not looking for every microhome.

I’m looking for the ones that inspire people to stop scrolling.
